I haven't written in a while! This summer I was in Finland 3 weeks, which was fabulous! I got to see family, and a friend I hadn't seen since we were little. We're only two weeks apart in age!
I got the teacher I wanted, and two best friends. I also got a few semi-friends, and a LOT of annoying boys. Luckily, I got Nory, the other author, in my class, and I sit next to my friend Freesia. There is also a new girl in my class, Masha. I hope to be friends with her, but I never know what to say! Mr. Weis is nice. He reminds me of my 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Sugerman. So far, 5th grade is fun and for the moment mostly easy. We have almost no homework compared to last year, which is a surprising relief. I have lots of time to do what I want now.
