You're a reader of the Diomand Daily. Or now you are. But do you know the history? How this blog came to be? You don't know the authors. Or you know the earlier version of the authors. Now I am going to tell you. It all started with a playdate when two girls were bored. These two girls were ages 7 and 8, Nory and Elina. I am Elina. We started The Diomand Daily, wanting it to be the Diamond Daily. However, we
were only in second grade, and that was how we spelled Diamond. (Personally, I like it better this way.) We both have little siblings, and amazingly they're the same age. So we had 4 authors. Elina, Nory, Kenna, and Ville. First I'll tell you about the modern Elina. I'm 11, entering middle school, and love reading and baking knitting and stuff like that. And I have a cat. Now, I can see the stereotype you have in your mind, but I'm not that person.
Onto Nory. She is 10, entering middle school, loves reading and writing and goes to math circle. She's a whiz with computers. I see, again, the stereotype you are conjouring up. NERD is what you are thinking. Not true.
Next up is Kenna. She is 7, entering 2nd grade. She's passionate about a lot of things, I guess. I'm not really sure what to say about her. She has a blog.
Last but no least, Ville, the only boy in our 4. 7, like Kenna, he is entering 2nd. He's into building things and stuff like that, and reads a lot.
But now, the Diamond Daily is only me, and only rarely. I keep reminding Nory, but alas, she forgets. So.
